Your Success As An Entrepreneur Is 80% Mindset.

The Pareto Principle, one of the best things that I’ve learned and something that can be easily applied to almost all aspects of your business. The Pareto principle states that for many outcomes roughly 80% of consequences come from 20% of the causes.

In 1896,  Pareto showed that approximately 80% of the land in Italy was owned by 20% of the population.  Data and research have shown this principle to be applicable to many things.

My theory is that this principle can be applied to our entrepreneurial success.

80% of our success as an entrepreneur is related to our mindset. While 20% is related to our technical expertise and skill.

Our success as business owners isn’t built on the latest marketing or sales trends, however, it’s built on perseverance, grit, tenacity, and vision.

What builds successful entrepreneurs are the “soft” skills that are invaluable. Take a look at this entrepreneur iceberg.

Everything is built on our self-confidence, our consistency, our mindset, and our perspective.

Our success in building a profitable business. Our success in growing our sales and cash flow can only happen when we have a solid mindset and perspective.

There’s a reason why foundation comes first – it sets the groundwork for growth.

And if you’re like most entrepreneurs, your mind needs to assess your mindset often. We go through the ups and downs of self-doubt, self-praise, feeling elated with our success, and questioning what the hell we are doing.

It’s easy to form habits that aren’t helping us grow or are self-sabotaging. It’s even easier to be unaware of these habits.

To break this chain and reset your mindset, you’ll have to go through a series of steps.

  1. Understanding how we form and develop habits
  2. Assessing your own habits and mindset as it relates to being an entrepreneur
  3. Applying an objective lens to yourself and your business to determine what’s working, what’s not working, and what needs to be changed
  4. Developing a plan of action based on your objective assessment
  5. Building a 90 Day Roadmap
